Introduction

I’m a native of Liberia, West Africa who returned to the US after the barbaric and horrific Liberian Civil War. As a pastor, writer and college professor, my dream is to return to Liberia at the end of this summer and establish an inclusive ministry that will spread the Gospel of peace, love and care with a nation that has experienced civil war for 14 years. In my conversation with Ambassador Charles A. Minor of the Liberian Embassy on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 in Washington, DC, we both agreed that the need for such ministry and my presence in Liberia are immensely needed. We seek to participate in the building of Liberia’s future through the followings: Inclusive Ministry, Practical Education, Empowering People, Transforming Lives, and Enhancing Skills.

In light of this vision and the need that exist in Liberia, I have launched a campaign that raised $760, 409 in medical supplies. We are still praying that items such as computers, copiers, binding machines, papers and other related supplies will be donated to this viable ministry. Most importantly, we are seeking your immediate and generous financial contribution that will help us raise $30,000 to cover transportation, shipping, and securing a building to house the supplies. Again, I plead your generous financial gift in getting these supplies to Liberia by the end of June before it gets too late. Using the Salvation Army model, we will create jobs, provide training, use these goods to meet the mounting needs of the Liberian people at affordable cost to the Liberian People and undertake a holistic ministry. Please make your contribution payable to Grace Christian Church.

Thanks for the penetrating, empowering and inspirational services you continue to offer the American people and the world. You continue to provide hope, open doors and assure countless people that with God’s help, a trailblazing future is possible for all who make the leap of faith. Attached are listing of items already secured for the Liberian Ministry Project.
